"Room clean and tidy, facilities excellent. Food excellent. Staff friendly. Only negative points were at times noticeable staff shortage which affected service and Reception did not pass on to restaurant staff correct details of visitors having half board."

"Absolutely loved our weekend at the Dower House! Amazing location surrounded by nature, the building is so beautiful and our room was huge and had every comfort. All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast "
