This property has gone backwards in a big way.
The new self check in system is slow, unhelpful when you have no idea what the rooms look like, but the worst part is having to pay $50 per night bond. What is in the room that is worth this fee? There is no mini bar because no you have to carry your allocation to your room like an in-mate. The bond also takes three days to refund! Why not add this self check in system to the booking system that we have already spent an hour doing?
The staff were pleasant but unable to provide answers to questions that managers would answer, the whole weekend was run by very young and inexperienced staff. Three out of my four nights stay the room key card wouldn't work so I had to back track to reception to get new cards, unsympathetic staff, on the third night I was ready to find a new hotel to stay in.
The Naumi has a reputation of quirky and different decal, this decal is in need or repairs as it now comes across as tacky and old. The room is poorly utilised and the blinds don't cover the windows properly plus the bathroom doors don't open fully because they hit the bed. I managed to get one days room keeping in the four days I stayed, not sure why the other days were not done but rather annoying as you need to use a spare towel to wipe the floor from the poorly sealed shower.
I wouldn't recommend staying here for all the above reasons and the location is way too loud if you want sleep on a Friday and Saturday night before 3am.
