"Very good location and good lift connection to Lampton Quay. Parking was fine but it could not be booked on Expedia . After booking thru Expedia I booked parking direct with Gilmour but I would not have been happy if none had been available."

"My stay was extremely disappointing. Reception repeatedly ignored calls and never call you back — the phone rang more than ten times before they answer . Basic room essentials were missing, including coffee, milk, sugar, and body wash. This is unacceptable for any hotel standard, and the lack of service shows poor management and zero attention to guests’ needs."

"The hotel was located in a great location, with easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, the cable car, Te Papa museum. The AirPort Express shuttle had a stop just down the street. It was noisy on Friday and Saturday nights, with loud chatter from nearby bars, I assume. The room was small but comfortable for 1 person."

"Good place to rest your head at nights, shower box is a little weird as just frosted glass surrounding it and huge gap when u close the bathroom door, option to park uncover with a small vehicle @$35/night, alternative is council street paid parking which is quite expensive and restrictive that would be the main negative, positive is it is very central to most places"

"If you enjoyed the backrooms horror movie this is for you. When we first arrived, I called the late check in line and they demanded my full credit card information otherwise I wasn’t allowed to check in. On top of that, I was required to pay a $100 fee if I only told them my last four digits instead of my whole credit card. There are no ventilation from the ground floor up, no windows in your room so it feels like a prison. On the second floor, there is a door that is so rigid that it takes me...

"Parking was a bit confusing initially but soon sorted."

"While the room and the property was decent enough, the shower in the bathroom was filthy. We ended up scrubbing the walls of the shower ourselves, cleaning off layers of mold and mildew. We never had the chance to discuss it with the front desk as it is really tough to find anybody at the front desk anytime we walked through the lobby. Other than the shower the rest of the room seemed to be decent enough."
