This was a cute Inn right down the street from Watkins Glenn State park. The room was very clean and updated. There is and ice cream shop right inside the Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very busy place. We got there early and they allowed us to park our car there so we could walk down to the state park. I would recommend this Inn . We were there for one night .
I was very concerned booking this hotel after reading some reviews but it worked out well. The room we had has been remodeled and is nice for a simple sleep and shower stay. It’s not fancy or decorated but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The location is so convenient and everything is walkable. The ice cream is good.
for a one-night stay, very acceptable. very small TV - but really just needed a place to sleep after a full day at the Glen. Clean room, parking was easy and the staff was friendly and helpful.
no frills - the price was very reasonable with our travels through the area.
The location was fantastic! Walkable to the gorge trail and Seneca Lake. The front porch rocking chairs were enjoyable. The room was clean and roomy with a nice desk with a chair. A bench for luggage or sitting and a corner chair for relaxing. We could have used clean towels on day 2 and the mattress was super soft…we prefer a bit more of a firm bed! The wood fire pizza was closed during our stay - only open Thursday to Sunday. The ice cream was yummy.
The room was clean and neat. It was also exceedingly small. There was no place to even hang up any clothes. I also kept knocking my shin on the bottom leg of the bed because there was so little room around it. The bathroom was amazing. The contactless check in was a pain in the rear. There was no check in desk let alone a person to provide service.
The property looks much nicer in the pictures. Not very clean, bed was terrible. Very old property needing updates badly. Musty smell. Not happy at all with the room. Only bright side is great location.
No closet, broken bathroom fixtures, a towel over the bathroom window for a blind, blood on the mattress, terribly loud air conditioner with duct tape around it. Bare walls. Just minimum lodging in a pinch. The photos in their Expedia page were quite deceptive.
The location was
Convenient, and the ice cream was good.

Liked: Cleanliness
Convenient to the park. You are expected to check in using an app and we were not successful. Then someone helped us. Paving during our stay made parking more distant from inn.
Had an amazing stay. Only issue was the air conditioner didn’t work but not a deal breaker. The rooms are as pictured. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is great as well. Felt very safe and there was enough parking.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The bed was the worst I’ve ever slept in. The blinds didn’t cover the windows and was like sleeping with the lights on. Bathroom needed some bleach. Parking was fine. Never saw the check in person. The girl at the creamer checked us in
Ideal Hotel for joining and relaxing soul and heart. Thanks for Barbara and all employees for professional, respectfully service. Very tasty ice cream 🍨🍦, quiet, clean, food. Everything excellent. Highly recommend for every body. Nice location. Restaurants, cafe, 7/11 Store 1 min. Walking distance. Also actually affordable price for suits, All the time available space for parking.
Thanks 🙏👍.
Staff was excellent, Very attentive and helpful. The Inn was very clean and quaint. Would definitely stay there again! Thank you a positive experience for our stay!!!
There is no staff that is immediately available, only by phone or email. And that is how check in is handled, phone or email. Our mattress was way too soft, and the fitted sheet was no longer fitting. There was no soap in the shower, not even the empty bottle where it should have been hanging on the wall. The ice bucket was a 1970 style, not insulated. No coffee maker in the room, only in the creamery, and the bottled water for the coffee was empty by 7:00 am Sunday morning.
On the plus side, it is centrally located in town so everything is walkable.
Superb location. Quiet, homey and cool despite the hot weather. Two minute walk to Watkins Glen State Park. Great ice cream and pizza. Highly recommended.
