"Great location. No kettle or TV. The additional £15 per bag to hold my luggage prior to check in when it was just an open, insecure side area by the elevator where anyone could've taken a bag. Their "in" vs. "out" sign for signaling room turndown was unclear. Does "in" mean we are in the room? Or does it mean come in? And same with "out", does it mean keep out? Or we're out? "

"Overall would recommend. The room was clean and the city was easy to reach in not too much time. The building is quite old and there are flaws like the elevators getting stuck and it was a bit hard to find the rooms. Except from that the room are quite modern, clean and big (we were in the family room which was very big). Staff was mostly friendly with one exception when we checked in. I would say since it’s very cheap and huge that’s kind of expected and it was mostly self service which is obviously fine but you shouldn’t make your guest feel dumb when they have a question and the system isn’t working. Given the price performance ratio that would be my only negative point and overall we were quite happy "

"The rooms are very minimalistic and small. Since the room was only required for sleeping it was not an issue. The hotel uses an AI messenger which you can use to contact with questions. The first night we ran into an issue because the shower drain did not work properly causing the water to flow into the room. I contacted the messenger and received a response within 30 minutes. We were given the option to switch rooms or request maintenance. We opted to switch rooms. The new rooms did not have issues. The location of the hotel is a bit hidden, but it is very close to the Piccadilly line which we used to go and return on our way to the airport. The location was great because we were within 15 mins to the palace and Big Ben. Overall, the hotel was great, I do think they need to do a little more maintenance in the rooms, but would definitely stay again. "

"Reception was chaos with one check-out self-operating terminal and two check in, each with one or two staff assisting (why the computers?!) and frustrated guests whose pre-registered data hadn't appared on the system. Whilst my small room was perfectly formed and designed, no tea or coffee was there - unusual - and the pillows so huge my head was at right angles to my shoulders; the mattress very soft. So uncomfortable I woke several times in the night and in the morning with pack pain and headache. I'm afraid this Point A hotel is more of a smart hostel at hotel prices."
