"Very quiet time of the year, we were the only ones for a huge wonderful breakfast. Room was a bit chilly the first night, but came okay after being "lived in". The room had an emergency light up high which meant the room was not completely dark. Bed, shower etc all good. Good location. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation on our return to Clacton after 37 years!! Recommend the Esplanade Hotel to everyone."

"Fabulous find, great communication from owner, arrived late and excellent direction to rental was given. On entering the property was very impressed, what a bargain for such a lovely property. Would definitely recommend Birds Farm if your visiting Colchester or surrounding areas."

"Two adults stayed. Used both bedrooms. Very hot but able to open windows. Enjoyed the upstairs outside deck when we were there. Useful having washing machine. Plenty of street parking, but tight spaces & don’t rely on parking directly outside. Bathroom tiny but fit for purpose. Easy walk to beach front. Thank you "

"De accommodatie is eenvoudig en verouderd en erg warm. Ontbijt wordt in het restaurant geserveerd er naast en is niet heel uitgebreid, weinig keus, pancakes waren koud. De accomodatienaam klopt niet en het adres wat er bij staat ook niet, dit gaat om een andere accomodatie van Premier Inn, dit is verwarrend!! "
