"Our room at the Deri-Down was lovely and comfortable with a large walk-in wardrobe and a modern well equipped en-suite shower room. "I was really impressed by this hotel, it was only really a bed for a night so I had low expectations but I was absolutely happy with how clean and comfy the room was. "Mill Lodge is located in a quiet side street with pubs and food shopping nearby. Our compact accommodation was very clean, cosy, comfortable and had all we needed, with a generous supply of teas, coffee and Welsh cakes in the room. At breakfast, there was a wide choice of quality ingredients to choose from, carefully prepared and presented in impeccable style. A nice touch was the freshly squeezed orange juice. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. "

"We had a lovely couple of nights at this beautiful hotel. Our room wasn’t ready until 4.50 pm which was a bit disheartening after a 3 hour drive and it was disappointing we were just offered a cup of tea and a sit in the lounge. This could have been handled better . The food was delicious, it was very quiet and beautiful lounges a shame there wasn’t anything to encourage guests to stay downstairs after dinner. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. "
