Hotel very central in Abergavenny! Lively hotel restaurant and attached bar area.
Single room was very clean super shower and clean comfortable bed. If you want to get to sleep before 11.00 on Saturday night there will be noise from bar (singer performing) Wi-Fi was good in room and tea/coffee making facilities!
Just two negatives
Advertised parking the hotel has no actual carpark and is in a pedestrian area on Saturday!
I booked in at reception which is actually the restaurant so quite busy
All in all an excellent two nights for the price 😀
This was an unexpected stop for us. The hotel was basic. Cleanliness and comfort were average. The room was small. We did not eat there. Parking was easy. If I were to return to Abergavenny, I would try a different hotel.
The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good but the hotel room was in a bad way.the wardrobe door was broken as i opened it it fell off and hit my head also the window would not close fully so it was freezing.i asked for a different room but none was available so i asked could we have a refund the manager said no but i want even a partial refund i will take this further.
