Also a market appeared right outside on Saturday. Good pub within short driving distance. Only small nit pick is we would have liked a larger hob and over considering our size of party - but it was fine overall."

"Our room was beamed and the superking sized bed was comfortable. There was a very thick duvet - a bit too hot for the weather - but an excellent fan was already in the room. Evening meal was good and a nice atmosphere in the bar and dining area. The waiter Connor was very attentive. Gluten free options are available but double check when ordering just to be sure!! Breakfast was self serve in a rustic kitchen . No GF options . All in all , a good one night stopover and a good price. Would go again."

Table service breakfast was a lovely treat and very delicious. Room was wonderful. The outdoor garden area is really nice, very private and beautiful with lots of flowers. Great spot to chill in the evening. Much closer to town than appeared in the map so was very happy with that and it's very close to walking path along the wye"
