"Wow such a treat having a massive spa bath in our room plus a spa pool on our terrace. The room was huge & very quiet. Maybe the gardens could have been a little more maintained to take advantage of the beautiful snow capped mountains. The restaurant was a little large & stark and kind of felt out of place compared to the intimacy of the rest of the property."

"Heater was on when we arrived and the manager was very helpful. We were in a disabled unit and there seems to bean issue with the fan. There is no air conditioning but Goodyear s. The electric blanket on one side of the bed couldn't be turned off without pulling out the electric plug."

"Larchwood Motel is well located. However it is severely lacking in up-keep and maintenance. Upon entering the unit it was smelly - stale alcohol/smoke. We opened up the room (it was freezing) for 15 minutes or so to air it out. The curtains are shabby and ill fitting on some windows. The bathroom was adequate but again shabby, a soiled towel had been left on the hook from a previous stay. The one positive is that the bedding/beds were clean and crisp. "When I arrived, I found I had been alloted an upstairs unit. As the stairs were steep, and I had a knee injury, I was kindly moved to a downstairs unit. This was an upgrade, at no extra cost. I was very grateful. Staff very pleasant, and amenities excellent. Easy walk to pools and shops. I would stay again."
