"A somewhat older property in good repair and possessed of much charming character. Located steps from Wailoaloa beach but without the noise and crowds of the beach clubs. As a family operated hotel the owners are involved in daily operations. The restaurant shows the top local rating on Google Maps. Portions are ample. "

"I booked this resort for myself and my two daughters and it was so beautiful. The beach waters are literally crystal clear turquoise water. The snorkeling was beautiful. The coral was so bright. The staff was 10 out of 10 so pleasant so kind willing to go above and beyond to make your stay happy. Special shout out to the all the bartenders especially Fresh and Ami. Una and Bill were very very helpful with everything. I will most definitely return. "

"Large pool with shade if required. The grounds are wonderfully tropical and well curated. Bures are private, roomy and the air conditioning works a treat. The large, fluffy bath towels are changed daily. All of the staff are terrific and the restaurant is well worth trying."

"Beautiful island and largely lovely staff. Rooms are dated. Fitness centre isn’t really a gym it’s a bunch of dumbbells. Main issue we had though is that there were cats roaming the main restaurant one evening, complained to staff to see if they could shoo them off and they just laughed at us. A few minutes later one jumped on our toddler and ruined our meal and left her very scared of the restaurant for rest of the trip."

"We stayed in the 2 bedroom beach front villa which was beautiful sunsets, clean and comfortable rooms and amenities. The air con in our master room was leaking but we just let the air con from living room flow through with no problems. Our room was not ready and had to wait at bar till 3ish but they were accommodating in allowing a late check out to make up for that which worked well for us going to airport later that afternoon House keeping and restaurant/bar staff are amazing - so friendly...

"Serenity Island Resort offered us a truly memorable stay thanks to the incredible staff who made us feel like family. A special thank you to Emosi, Nate, David, Peter, and Seru for their kindness and hospitality. Our oceanfront bure had beautiful views, and we enjoyed walking in the shallow waters at low tide, spotting purple starfish and other sea life. Snorkeling was good all around the island, and the sandbar trip to the coral walls was a highlight. The resort is older than pictured online,...

"Resort is in dire need of renovation, with multiple issues/appliances falling apart etc. The kids don't care though, still loved it. Staff lovely and helpful, but overwhelmed and desperately understaffed by the looks. If price is ok and you have young children, its still a good stay, but would strongly recommend staying away if childless/older children in favour of other options until they sort themselves out."
