A peaceful and authentic camp in Wadi Rum.
Kind staff, nice dinner and breakfast , and a very calm atmosphere.
I felt safe and welcomed as a solo traveler.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet desert experience.
I booked my stay at Milky Way Nights Camp last-minute, and Odeh picked me up from the Visitors Center as soon as he learned I was arriving. He booked me a tour, and set everything up very nicely. I changed the itinerary of the tour last-minute, and he was so kind about it despite the fact that I know it was an inconvenience. He saw me through the entire experience in Wadi Rum, even making sure I could get to a bus on time.
The local Bedouin people work together to make the best experience for you, and I was very impressed with their hospitality. Absolutely above and beyond. 👏
From start to finish, it was an experience we will treasure. We were welcomed by our hosts, who extended their personal hospitality in every aspect of our stay: Transport to the camp, traditional dinner and tea, breakfast, and the guided tour of the desert. The sights we saw, the people we met, the memories made - it was absolutely remarkable.
The host communicated with us extensively via WhatsApp prior to our arrival to ensure a coordinated pickup from Wadi Rum Village, and to set expectations for our time in the desert.
Going to Wadi Rum means staying in the desert, and all that comes with it: Sand, ants, and lousy wi-fi. If that matters, find another place to go. If, however, you are looking to experience "Mars on Earth" with personal guides who know this vast expanse like the back of their hands, spend a night here and treasure the memories forever.
