"This is honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Everything stood out, the location, the food, the views, and a staff that was genuinely kind, helpful and amazing throughout our stay. We stayed in the family room and it was so pretty, spotlessly clean and spacious enough that our two kids had plenty of room to run around and play. We really couldn't have asked for more. One thing that really stuck with us was how the team arranged breakfast a full hour earlier than usual because we had an early trip back to Tirana. Such a small thing but it made such a big difference and shows just how much they care about their guests. Definitely worth every penny and we will 100% be coming back on our next visit. "If you've never visited Albania, know this: the people of Albania are among the friendliest and kindest people you will ever meet. The first word that comes to mind when thinking of the Valza Boutique Hotel in Vlora is "hospitality." Even by the high Albanian standards, the owners and staff of this hotel are incredibly hospitable. The hotel is owned and operated by a family. They truly care about your stay with them being exceptional. Not a large corporation or "hotel chain." The decor is modern, elegant and comfortable. The construction (walls, doors, etc.) is solid and soundproof. The view of the Vlora bay from the roof terrace is incredible. The free breakfast is prepared daily with fresh, local ingredients including traditional albanian cakes and pastries. We booked a week then extended our stay another week. We were very pleased we chose this hotel for our stay in Vlora. "

"Our reservation was for a rooftop duplex room with a view. However, upon arrival at the hotel, we were unfortunately accommodated in a different room in a different building. We were very tired and accepted it without complaining. So, we didn't really care about the view.room clean . "

"The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the staff cleaned everyday and provided clean towels everyday. The place is family run and both wife and husband are courteous. They are very helpful in suggesting what activities to do to.make your experience amazing. Her breakfast was so good. I recommend this place and will visit again."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet at night. The hotel was near the water and away from the main town so the water was cleaner. The hotel description says bar and restaurant and deli but that's not entirely true. There's no deli and there doesn't really seem to be food options available of an evening. We went elsewhere for dinner as no one was eating there after breakfast. "

What I didn’t like: rude staff, noisy, dirty rooms, towels are over used and stained with yellow marks, the sink is unsafe you can’t lean on it and leaks, Miskitos caused bites all over my arms and my legs, using the balcony is not possible due to different insects, no swimming pool it was close all the time I was there for six days, the hotel is not handicap friendly. Overall, pictures online are really deceiving, the hotel needs renovations "
