"Great place. Beautiful views and very relaxing. Beach area to get your feet wet and the beach area available is beautiful but rocky and not safe for swimming. But you can sit down there and enjoy the ocean with a beach chair. Beach access is close by via Taxi!"

"This is a great property completely surrounded by nature. Coconut and banana trees, aloe, ferns, horses, roosters, iguanas, birds, etc. It is an older property but well maintained. A/c works well. Has a cute little pool. Very rustic feel."

"This is my most favorite place on Puerto Rico to stay at!!! Everything about our stay was fabulous.....except I loved the smell of the hotel so much that they need to sell the fragrance for home use (with a diffuser) or they need to sell candles of the scent. Many hotels have their signature scent available The El Conquistador should as well.
That is my only complaint. I will be back!!!"

"An oasis in paradise on hilltop. Tranquil. Host provided places to eat and see. We had apartment #7.It was spacious, clean, felt like home. Close to town and beaches. Great amenities like a rooftop terrace, overlooking the ocean and washing/dryer machines. Next time, we will stay longer.Thank you so much for wonderful experience."

"We recently stayed at this property and had an uncomfortable experience after checkout. The host charged us a fee for alleged damage to the bedding, claiming it was caused by mosquito repellent. While we understand that policies exist, we respectfully disagreed with the charge.
What concerned us most was that the only photo initially provided as “evidence” was later clarified to be taken in a different room (the laundry room), not the actual room we stayed in. This created confusion and did not feel like a fair or accurate way to support the claim.
We explained that the mosquito repellent was applied next to the door as we were leaving, and no one used the beds afterward. Despite this, the charge was applied and we were told there was no further discussion.
This review is not about the amount charged, but about transparency and fairness. Future guests may want to be aware of how situations like this are handled."
