"This is a fantastic hotel right in the heart of Cardiff and just a quick walk to so many bars, cafes, shops and the Castle. Our room was so lovely. It had a very funky vibe and was beautiful decorated, clean and comfortable. We loved it! The community lounge and deck was also a great addition giving you access to a great hang out area. It is also well stocked with snacks and drinks. The restaurant downstairs was also nice. We parked our car in the public carpark opposite the hotel which was easy...

Its proximity to the train station was appealing to me, but I liked the location for many other reasons as well — close to shopping, restaurants and sights while still being quiet. The staff was excellent and the spa a wonderful indulgence. I was in a suite and loved the huge sofa to relax in!"

"Room was overpriced for a concert, £400 per night when £220 normally. I’d expect an uplift but not this much. Room was worn, fan and windows dusty and unclean. Other room had no hot water in shower so unable to use. Noisy and limited sleep although bed comfortable No bar as closed. WiFi non existent and no 5G signal so if you want a quiet night and no shower then ideal place. Breakfast mediocre"

"I booked in for one night to go to a local event. The room was clean enough for an overnight stay. The staff left a fan in the room which was handy with how warm the night time was. Parking was on the road outside which was safe enough."

"Room was lovely and clean. Wonderful air conditioning that was really appreciated in this current heatwave! Staff were very friendly and accommodating from check in to breakfast to checking out Enquired about leaving our luggage at the hotel before check in, as we arrived in Cardiff at around 11.15am and was really surprised that we were allowed to check in and a room was ready for us. This made such a difference to our stay. We were able to freshen up before going out to explore...

"Whilst the room was clean it does need updating.The mattress needs to be replaced and the room was exceptionally hot partly do to the hot weather but no windows to open and the fan was not adequate"

"We had to walk up thirty stairs to the top room which was claustrophobic and the bed was very high. The toilet system was very loud. My partner couldn’t get into the shower as she is on the large size and struggled with the stairs which did not have a proper banister. We checked out two days early as she couldn’t cope with the stairs and the room and we are awaiting a refund for those two days."

"My room was maybe 6ft x 4ft. Bathroom was small. No where store stuff. No water pressure in shower cause building is old. Only good thing was across street from stadium."
