The owners at Villa Denise are of the highest order. They are rightly proud of the property that they dedicated themselves to creating, taking a 200 year old dwelling and spending an extraordinary amount of time to improve. Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming, especially so as they were inviting us into their own home. There was a language barrier as we don’t speak much Italian, but our hosts went to great lengths to make us comfortable. At the end of our stay I told Giovanni that there is too much ugliness in this world, but that they had created a little corner of beauty. Which they have, extraordinarily well! Thank you for giving us what we consider to be the finest holiday we have ever enjoyed!

Great views,friendly staff,perfect for relaxing.Room was very quaint and rustic. Bed very comfy so slept really well.The bathroom was clean with a powerful shower.Just remember that if you have any mobility issues this place is not for you! Steps to the property and your room,as the villa is on a hill. Secluded and off the beaten track but it suited me fine forvthe 4 days . The bus stop goes to Vico Equense, every hour ,and is about 800 meters or so from the property ,diwn tge stairs.There's no shops or bars around it so if you want anything ,or fancy a lunch ,you'll need the bus.

Et in Arcadia ego! I have been in Paradise!

We have spent four marvellous days in paradise! Villa Denise is a B&B fantastic - we had comfortable, big room with a wonderful view over the Naples Bay and Vesuvius and the bathroom had everything you needed. The cleanliness was impeccable everywhere. A very good breakfast with high quality products made the start of the day perfect. Every detail, from the furniture of both the patio and the rooms, gave witness of the owners' delicate taste - even the plates and the coffee cups had been selected with "fingertip feel"! The Di Gennaro family made everything in a very natural way to make us feel at home; it is obvious that all three of them, Denise, Fabrizio and Giovanni, love their job. They give their guests shuttle service to the parking, which is situated 10 minutes walk away, however the route is a bit steep so you need to put on good walking shoes, but that is needed for your visits in the surroundings (Pompeii, Capri etc) anyway. Unforgettable.
