"Good property"

"I loved our two rooms with bathroom in between for less than $150, and the sweet and simple old fashioned building. The back entryway is really lovely. The thrift shop nearby was also nice. And the train across the street we hope to ride one day."

"Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont."

"Would have been better if the fire alarm didn’t go off twice and neither time were we told it was safe to go back inside. No acknowledgment of the alarms at the very early hours of the morning. Otherwise the property was okay. Simple and relatively clean. The sleeper sofa had food crumbs on the mattress."

"We enjoyed our stay. We were in the back building the Walker building (I think) surprisingly quiet and did not hear other quests in hallways or near us. Limited parking when the restaurant is open . But we moved the car closer when it closed. Continental breakfast available at yhe Inn for a charge. We chose a hot meal elsewhere but had a table filled with fruit, muffins hard-boiled eggs and such. The old in is beautiful and you are allowed to use a lot of the public spaces.
