"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

"Small bedroom and very small bathroom. Hotel generally very old and tired. Breakfast very poor with very little choice. Convenient location with a quick walk to the town. "

"We have stayed here several times in the last few years because it is always great value.Plus the host is always very welcoming and the free car park is very useful.The rooms are spacious and have large radiators.Good selection at the breakfast buffet with only one very slight complaint,no toaster."
