Great location. Breakfast was good. We had a ln early departure on the last day and they were able to provide a boxed breakfast for us. Parking is limited. We paid for the hotel parking garage, but you need a smaller car to fit in the tight spaces. Street parking is also available and the hotel staff can explain all of your options. Staff also made good recommendations for dining and for things to do in the area. Would stay here again.

A nice oldish hotel, very well located close to the boat stop, from which one can easily travel to Stresa and the islands. Pleasant and friendly staff, quiet surroundings with a possibility of a comfortable walk to Intra with its excellent restaurants. Varied and tasty breakfast. My only complaint is that the room was not well sound isolated, and especially in the late evening I could hear water flushing, TVs running, people snoring, etc. Not a big deal, but an opportunity for improvement. Also, I could not find a way to open the safe or turn on the air-conditioning, since no instructions were available in the room (though there was a detailed multi-page manual for the water boiler!). But generally, if you prefer to avoid the touristic flair of Stresa and stay on the quiter side of the lake, this hotel is a nice choice.

I paid a lot of money for a superior room but the room waa barely a standard room. The onky superior feature was the lake view. The kettle had to be plugged into the bathroom plug as it wouldn't fit any other socket. I had 2 paper cups for hot drinks and a couple of tea bads and 2 sugars for 3 night stay. The bed was very hard and facilities extremely basic. The room was bare and very small. For a room that should cost over £800 for 3 nights out of season that is shocking. I asked to be moved but the room they put me in was even worse. I asked for a partial refund free Expedia who did comtact the hotel for me but no partial refund was made.

Leider war mein Badezimmer nicht sauber. Überall fanden sich auf Toilette, Waschbecken, Dusche und Wänden lange Haare der Vorgängerin. Ansonsten ist das Hotel leider sehr hellhörig. Die Wände scheinen dünn zu sein, da man das schnarchen aus dem Nachbarzimmer hörte.

Nous avons changé de chambre pour 20€ de plus par jour pour être face au lac. La première chambre "standard" était très sombre au premier étage vue sur une ruelle très étroite sur le coté de l'hotel. La deuxième chambre vue lac était bien plus agréable, mais la salle de bains était équipée pour des personnes en chaise roulante, ce qui n'est pas très agréable pour des personnes valides

Hôtel très bien situé. Personnel très agréable. Chambre propre et confortable. Seul bémol, il y a des pertiennes sur les volets qui ne ferment pas et les doubles rideaux ne ferment pas non plus. Donc beaucoup de jour dans la chambre.

Nice old style hotel with proper lobby, right across from lakefront promenade. Best value found! Very friendly staff, free gated parking! Just our front is quiet lawn area with bars and restaurants putting their chairs out at night. Loved it.
