"We had a river view room which meant we had some stunning shots out of the window. A tip: close the curtains before you leave if you're going out for the day as the sun shines directly into the room and the air con will struggle. The room is spacious, with a good desk area for those who need to work. The only tiny downside is that the rooms are a bit dated. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - from the bell hop to the concierge to the check in staff. They also have umbrellas to borrow.... The Lebanese restaurant was also very good. Extremely tasty food and definitely worth a try. A bit expensive for Budapest but worth it. We didn't use the other restaurant/bar nor did we have breakfast so can't really comment. The location if second to none. Your right next to the Chain Bridge and delightful day out is a walk across the bridge, onto the funicular railway up to the castle, Fisherman's Bastion and other attractions. 10 minutes to the Parliament and 10 minutes the other way to the Market and lots in between."

"An exceptional stay in the heart of Budapest! Our family of four stayed at Sophia Palace during our visit to Budapest, and this was easily one of our favorite hotels of the entire European trip. The location is absolutely fantastic. Being right across from the Great Market Hall, near Liberty Bridge, the Danube, Váci Street, and public transportation made getting around Budapest incredibly easy. We were able to walk to many of the places we wanted to visit, and the transportation connections were excellent. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern, clean, and very comfortable. Our room was spacious enough for our family of four, and after long days exploring Budapest, it was a great place to come back and relax. But what really stood out to us was the staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They made us feel like guests rather than just customers. The breakfast was also excellent and gave us a great start to our sightseeing days. We traveled through several cities during our European vacation, and Sophia Palace was one of the hotels that left the best impression on our family. The combination of location, beautiful accommodations, cleanliness, breakfast, and especially the staff made this an easy 5-star experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Sophia Palace to anyone visiting Budapest, especially families."

"We had a beautiful and spacious room with a fantastic view of the chain bridge and river. It was beautiful during the day and even better at night. We loved Leo’s skybar on the roof. Great staff. The only guy I had an issue with was the morning desk manager who acted like I was going to skip out without paying my bill. Everything was straightened out and I was on my way. I look forward to returning in the future."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Vison Hotel, the property is only six years old and well maintained on the whole. Shower needs to be cleaned up as there are some areas of mould in the grouting. The shower does leak into the bathroom unless you get someone to lay the towel against the door, this prevents flooding. Nesspresso machine in the room is a great touch, tea bags are also available and replenished daily. All the staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much bother for them. Breakfast was good with great deal of diffrent salads, cheese, cold meats, fruit, cereal and cooked breakfast. Self service coffee machine delvers good coffee. We had tapas one evening at the hotel they were delicious, well presented, we would recommend the tapas. Loved the 24 hour coffee and tea making area. The ladies who look after this area are outstanding as they are constantly washing up and making sure everything is topped up. Vision hotel is located by the river Danube with the view of the Gellert hill. Easy reach of the local transport.Nice restaurants nearby, we tried Lebanese, Greek and a Bavarian nearby and we throughly enjoyed the food. We definitely would stay at Vision hotel again."

"We had an amazing 2-night stay at the Leon Hotel during our trip to Budapest. The hotel was spotlessly clean, modern and in an amazing location, perfect for exploring the city. The staff were lovely, friendly and always helpful, and the welcome drink on arrival was such a nice touch. We honestly couldn’t fault the hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. We’d happily stay here again!"
