Nice rooms with amazing views. Service could be better. I have a nice stay at the Amari Vang Vieng, the view from my river facing room was nothing short of spectacular, particularly at sunset. The pool is very large an also afford great views of the river, mountains and sunset. I was surprised that returning at 4 pm after a long day touring Vang Vieng my room wasn't made. This happened also to fellow travelers in another room. Room was made after a request was made.

Great location. Nearby restaurants, market and a motorbike rentalnplace. The staff is really helpful and friendly. The room is clean. We got room upgrade to river view from VIP which has a really nice view. Unfortunately there were quite heavy of PM2.5 and therefore it blocks the beautiful view in the morning and evening. The bathroom door need to be fixed as it’s really hard to close. Food is great, variety of option. Definitely great place to stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Amari Vang Vieng! I came with my spouse and 3 kids (6, 10 & 15). We all enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a very close walk to the night market, and surrounded by lots of hotels and food vendors. You won't have any problems finding food. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, and very friendly. Whenever we needed anything, they were more than happy to assist us. The view from the room to the river and mountains were so incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend it, and cannot wait to return.

A gem in Vang Vieng It's my second time staying in Vang Vieng, Laos. This time, I chose to stay at Amari in Vang Vieng. The minute I arrived at the hotel, I realized that I left my luggage at the Wattay airport in Vientiane. Immediately I asked the hotel staff to help me find my lost luggage, and I have to mention his name, Ton Sibounheuang. Ton called his buddy who works at the airport and brought me my luggage the next day. I am thankful for the hospitality and genuine care of the staff. Thank you!

The staff was very unhelpful and unaccomadating. The AC in the room was not working. The staff did not try to help with changing rooms with the same grade suitw I had requested. The staff was also very bad when telling me the pool was closing at 10. However when k came back from dinner, the staff said the pool closed since 8pm. However the pool information in the room posted it closes at 9. Very inconsistent imformation from the staff. I went to Amari when they first opened a few years ago, and loved the hotel until my most recent visit was very disappointing. I will have to look else where for a luxury hotel stay in Vang Vieng since Amari and their staff showed very bad service and accomodation. O rate amaro as a 1 star service hotel.

Very nice stay at this hotel. Nice and friendly staff. The view and sunset from the swimming pool are amazing. Just have a drink and enjoy the view. The food at the restaurant is good as well as the breakfast. The only cons is the city view from the room which did not exist because we had a wall in front of us. If i go back to this city, i will for sure choose this hotel.

The hotel was tidy and the room was spacious. The front desk was helpful and answered all my questions. The breakfast was okay, however items were not refilled later in the breakfast time. The view from our room and the pool was amazing! I would stay here again.

This hotel is centrally and conveniently located in Vang Vieng. There are plenty of eateries in the immediate vicinity. It is also a short distance away from the night market. The lobby has a high ceiling and you feel welcome in the lobby. There are plenty of seating areas. Otherwise, you can head outside to the swimming pool, which has excellent views of the mountains on the other side. On the second floor, there is a small gym. You have dumbbells up to 25kg, one adjustable bench, stationary bikes and treadmills, as well as a combined machine. I had the Superior King with River View. The room was spacious, with a rain shower option. There was also a balcony with a rack to dry your clothes, especially if you do any wet activities. The balcony also provides a great view of the mountains and the other side of the river. 4 600ml bottles are also provided each day. The TV had cable and you can watch shows on Nat Geo, HBO and FOX movies. What I enjoyed here was the strong air conditioning which provided sufficient respite from the afternoon heat. Waking up to the mountain views was also a plus. Overall, I would recommend staying here for a comfortable time in Vang Vieng.

Amazing views
We vistited during our honeymoon and had an amazing room and amazing view. The location is great and the staff was helpful. It’s probably the biggest hotel in the area so there were lots of other guests at the pool.

This is a very excellent property. The problem we had is that this picture does not reflect what we were initially offered. We upgraded to get this room. We were put in a room with no view which meant no window. The pictures need to represent the room prices.

Great place
Don't bother looking for any other hotel in the area because you won't find one as good as this. Staff are nice and friendly but you must have a room With a river view and you will not be disappointed breakfast is great there is something there for everyone you will not leave there hungry. It's just a great hotel I will definitely use it again and recommends it

Comfortable hotel in central location
Comfortable hotel in central location. Hotel was a bit tired, but great service. And the breakfast which was included in the price was very good!

Many false advertisement. Picture made you think you are right by the river, but you are not. Air conditioner did not work. Hotels cut corners, tried to charge you twice for breakfast.

Decent stay in Vang Vieng
Amari Vang Vieng has pretty good location and perfect River view. It is one of a few hotels in Vang Vieng which has a pool with clear condition. But, the room was a little empty with less furniture. Breakfast was delicious with various choice.
