"Property is quaint. Glad to have stayed. Staff was nice. Hotel is in bad need of updating/ repair. Rooms are inconveniently set up. Fixtures broken, paint peeling, baseboards taped, stairs broken, banister could be more secure for such a steep incline. May be just poor use of space also. Not really sure of daily maid service. Location is amazing. Happy with the town and hotel was sadly, just ok. I wanted to like it more. I may be back but stay in a room facing the cannery. "

"A little difficult to find (they did provide instructions but I still had to loop around a couple times) but other than that it was a good hotel to stop at on our way to the island. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. "

"As I've been telling friends and family, this was a 5-star experience at a 2-star motel. 2400 motel is very transparent in their advertising, it is an older motel with modest amenities. For us? It was perfect. We booked a family suite that had a full kitchen, separate bedroom with one bed, a 4-peice bathroom, and a second bed in the main 'living' space. The arrangement was ideal for my small family (2 adults, 2-year old, & puppy). The areas that could easily be updated were --new laminate...

"The hotel is good for a 2 star establishment. It was clean the rooms were comfortable & the staff were friendly & helpful. The area outside of the hotel is less desireable but people need to remember you are not booking a hotel in millionaires row. We experienced no issues at all with the area & we also rode the bus with no issues. We parked our car in the car park as designated by the hotel & the car park was fine. There is a little cafe called Rosemary's behind the hotel & we went there...
