"Adored our stay here! The location is perfect for sightseeing, shopping and tons of dining options. The staff was lovely and accommodating and stored our luggage for us upon arrival and departure. Such a charming area to stay in and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Lincoln."
"My room overlooking the castle walls was spotless. However, the furnishings and decor were a little exhausted looking there and in public areas.
The vegetarian breakfast was outstanding. Good quality ingredients and piping hot.

"We had an excellent stay at The Lincoln Hotel. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. It is a great location to stay in the historic area of Lincoln."
"Great place … just what we needed.. clean, comfortable and friendly. Stayed 2 nights for Daughters graduation… wasn’t disappointed. Great location, friendly staff and locals.
Would we stay again…. Absolutely! "
"Difficult to find and very problematic checking in. Digital check in never opened for me. The only way I was able to get into my room was that I was let in by a management person. I didn’t leave for dinner because I was afraid I’d be locked out. I wanted to drop my luggage around noon so I could see the sites without suitcase in tow but since there is no on site staff and no check in until 4 that was not possible. Please come up with a solution for travelers who need to store luggage. "

"This is a lovely hotel. Great situation opposite the castle, so at the top of the hill!
Continental breakfast of pastries, fruit, yogurt, cold meats, cheese toast. Plenty to choose from.
We had a standard room which was spacious and nicely decorated. Large shower room. The plug sockets had been upgraded to include USB and phone charger sockets so you don’t need a plug.
Just a few minutes walk to the steep hill and then onto the shopping centre and round to the waterfront.
There is plenty of car parking around the hotel but you do need to pay. It was just over £10 for 24 hours, so factor that in if you are on a budget. There is a lovely cafe next to the hotel. A tapas bar, Indian and pub within a stones throw. The Indian restaurant is well worth a trip but book if you can as we had to wait for a table as it’s busy.
Will definitely stay here again. Staff were really friendly. Especially the breakfast lady! "
