"We found Mataro to be a great place from which to come and go to Barcelona a this hotel was an easy place to stay. Just a walk along the waterfront to get to the train! The rooms are pretty basic but clean and adequate. The breakfast is good. Staff were lovely and helpful."

"We stayed at Hotel Balneari Termes Orion for 3 nights at the end of May 2026 to attend the wedding of a friend who got married close by. Friendly, helpful staff, who were very accommodating. The breakfast buffet is great, with lots of options, worth spending the extra money. Lovely cocktails at the bar too. "Although the property says parking is available, it’s only general public street parking. You have to circle many times to find a spot. There is no specific parking for hote guests. Also, the pool is not open to children, and this is not mentioned on the website. The rooms were bare and super basic, and much closer to 3 stars than 4. Had I known these things, I would have booked elsewhere. The staff was very kind and the restaurant location (facing the beach) were great."

"We stayed here while attending the Catalunya MotoGP and it was a great base, only around a 30-minute drive to the circuit. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had a much more relaxed atmosphere compared to the busy tourist areas. We used the Nuus restaurant most evenings and also spent time at the outside bar, both of which were really enjoyable. "Great little hotel 1 minute from the beach. Beautiful and modern with excellent breakfast and friendly staff. If you're going to stay for a week then smaller rooms might be a bit of a squeeze with luggage because the bed is massive but it was perfect for us. Def would go back. "

"Fui a este hotel con unas altas expectativas, la puntuación era buena y la ubicación también… pagué 150,69eur por 2 noches, una sola persona en fechas de 3 días antes de semana santa. Pues bien, esperaba encontrar un buen servicio y resultó todo lo contrario. La 1a noche había un pelo en la sábana(desagradable) pero no dije nada, el colmo fué el segundo día, llego a las 18h y la habitación sin hacer, pensé que no era de recibo, pero no dije nada, me fui y llego por la noche y sorpresa!…no...

"De kamer was zeer ruim en proper; enkel de badkamer had een zeer ongemakkelijke WC (met een rechte toiletbril achteraan, wat heel pijnlijk was om op te zitten...).
