Great staff and personable service. The Kite Beach Cottage does not include Any tea/coffee amenities nor does it include a 240v outlet but the great team did move us to another cottage as soon as the outlet issue was noted. The overall ambience was great but if staying in the kite cottage be prepared for lots of customers visiting the nearby kite training centre and noises from maintenance crews at the kite centre. The breeze and sea sounds are great in the evening when they finish for the day.

The staff are fantastic: friendly, professional and quick to help with any request. I like the location and the spacious rooms, and especially recommend the cottages. My colleague and I ate at the restaurant most days because the food is excellent: even the breakfast is a step above the usual hotel fare. For this price bracket, however, I would have expected the rooms to have tea/ coffee making facilities and a television.

Great hotel

Staff were very friendly and helpful, organised a day trip to Tobago Cays for us. Palm island is a short 10 minute boat ride away.Stayed in a beachfront room, room was large and clean with nice decor. Hotel has a nice restaurant and bar area and gift shop. Breakfast was included, hotel is next to the airport. A wholesale liquor and drink outlet is also on site.

Unfortunately there was a big mixup with our reservation. We were suppose to stay at the Anchorage Yacht Club, but hotels.com messed up our reservation and had us booked while the Yacht Club was closed for renovations. Luckily the General Manager, Melissa, got a hold of us to clear up the confusion and helped us find another place to stay. Melissa, Glen, and Allison were absolutely wonderful in helping us out upon our arrival. We were sad we weren’t able to stay at the Yacht Club, however, we are looking forward to our next visit and being able to stay with them. We did see the property and even though it was closed it was absolutely beautiful and very clean!

Nice location, within easy walk of the centre of Clifton, and large rooms. However the rooms and restaurant are expensive and there were a lot of 'levies' and other extras added to our bills at the end that we weren't warned about by Expedia or the hotel. Charges from the restaurant included a whopping $8.80 for 1 egg for breakfast! Given the prices, we were disappointed by the lack of wifi in most rooms and would have expected a tv.

Superb service, great location

The stand-out feature of this hotel is the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Without exception they went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, from sorting out our trip to Tobago Cays to helping with ongoing travel plans and allowing us to check in early when our flight came in in the morning. Our room on Kite Beach was simple (no TV or A/C) and airy, with the most spectacular views. Also very easy walk to the bars and restaurants in Clifton.

Lovely stay near everything!

AYC is highly underrated! This is a great little place. The location is perfect, staff is wonderful and the beach cottages are just lovely. Definitely worth the upgrade. The AYC restaurant is the best food I had on the island. Thank you Isis, Petra, Kameezy and Mylesha (sp?) for a memorable stay!

Great low key inn close to kiting

What a great piece of paradise. The staff was awesome and took good care of us. We will miss our new friends. Room was nothing fancy but clean and good layout. They really go out of there way to make things easy. Kite beach is 2 minute walk with helpful instructors and great kiting tours. Food was great all around. We spent two weeks there and wished for two more. Keep up the good work!!! See you soon

Wonderful stay with fabulous staff!

We really enjoyed pur stay at the Anchorage Yacht Club Hotel. Everything was great but best of all were the staff, who did everything possible to ensure we enjoyed our stay. We did have a couple of issues during our time there but these were quickly resolved for us. We are very grateful to everyone at the Anchorage for a wonderful experience and shall never forget the genuine warmth of Melissa and her team. We would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Fabulous

This hotel has an Amazing point of view, à private small beach. All the personnel is attentive and very helpful (they were there for me all the time and even arrange a water taxi for Carriacou). Good restaurant. Very nice room with amazing view and balcony. Would definitly recommand it.
