This hotel is a very beautiful small palace and I can not complaint about how cozy, clean and nice it is. But I just say that the check in was rather strange. The lady that helped us, I believe the owner, asked if we wanted to pay cash as we checked in and we did. We asked for a receipt and she made all kind of excuses not to give us one. At the end, she just wrote down a note stating that we had paid for the room and although we asked for a stamp from the company, just to make it more oficial she said that they didn’t have one and just signed it. I have never seen anything like that and thought it was very, very odd. Instead of the room we had reserved we were put in an attic, nice, with a kitchenette and all but no windows, just a skylight. We only spent one night, very comfortably I must say. Also, there was not breakfast available, which supposedly came with the room. At the end we had breakfast just down the street at a cafe and had delicious chocolate and cafe with churros, which was probably much better anyways.

Estancia con mucho encanto

El hotel está perfectamente situado, las habitaciones son espaciosas y bonitas. El personal de recepción es muy amable, y el único "pero" a nuestra estancia, es que la puerta del aseo es de cristal semitransparente y no tienes intimidad, quitando ese pequeño detalle, que es mejorable fácilmente , repetitíamos sin lugar a dudas

Charming place to stay in Ubeda

Charming hotel in a small square close to many of the Renaissance buildings that Ubeda is famous for. The person who greeted us when we arrived was exrtemely helpful. She suggested the best places to eat and see. Breakfast was delightful.

Eine perfekte Location für den Kurzaufenthalt in Úbeda! Das historische Haus ist modernst renoviert, mit teilweise ungewöhnlichen architektonischen Elementen, z.B. die Waschbecken direkt im Zimmer. Ungewöhnlich, aber sehr stylish. Das Personal ist überaus nett und hilfsbereit, nichts ungewöhnliches in Andalusien. Parkplätze gibt es ausreichend in der Umgebung - gratis und sicher.Kurz: Perfekt!

Aun tratándose de un hotel nuevo y en buen estado, tenemos algunas quejas: 1. La puerta del WC estå situada en la cabecera de la cama y es de cristal traslucido pero se ve perfectamente el interior. 2. Las toallas mojadas que dejamos en el plato de la ducha, las volvieron a colgar. 3. El segundo dia de estancia no hicieron la cama, tan solo echaron la colcha.

Hotel dans le centre historique.

Chambre moderne. La notre était située au rez-de-chaussée mais la placette était peu fréquentée et nous n'avons pas été dérangé. Par contre, les WC donnent directement sur la tête du lit via une porte vitrée en verre dépoli, ce qui en retire quasi toute intimité. Belle douche. Des loupiotes qui restent allumées pour signaler de petites marches, sont dérangeantes pour la nuit. Petit déjeuner rudimentaire avec un service long.

Estuve después de semana santa en una han doble superior que fue espectacular!!!todo muy limpio, en pleno centro,súper amables las recepcionistas! Si volviese a ubeda tengo claro donde volveríamos! Rather odd Boutique hotel

Old building renovated into a Boutique hotel. The room we had (1.3) was damp....partially because the shower room was in the bedroom with a partial partition wall and no extraction but also the external walls felt damp. This was aground floor room and looking at the outside of the building it was clear that damp was rising through the stone wall. Bed was small and not especially comfortable. Public areas smelt of smoke - the owners clearly smoked in the building. Breakfast was poor, some bruised pieces of fruit, cold coffee and toast, served at the table rather pretentiously. Other rooms may be better than the one we had as one night stay guests.
