"I like staying here as you can park right outside your room. There is an excellent bar and restaurant and I enjoyed sitting outside with a drink in the evening.

"Lovely helpful staff, we stayed when it was 30 degrees and they went out of their way to find us a fan for the room. Basic rooms but spacious and clean which is all we needed. The pub is great, loads of parking, good food. Walking distance to Royal Derby hospital so ideal for our needs. Would recommend "
"Great grade II listed building with stunning lobby and stairwell area. Nicely presented room with all the finishes expected of a 4* hotel. Pleasant staff and a good breakfast offering.

"The room was beautiful. We had been to a wedding so they allowed late arrival back. The only feedback is they the room was stifling hot to enter. There wasn’t air conditioning but there was a fan they I was happy with. The pillows were so comfy and it was a luxurious stay. Would return. Breakfast was also delicious. "
"A very enjoyable one night stay. We had booked a junior suite but asked to swap rooms to a different type, with a golf view. The receptionist was happy to oblige and all was sorted swiftly. We were so pleased with our decision as the view down the eighteenth hole and across the surrounding countryside was fabulous. The delicious and plentiful breakfast was freshly prepared and made to order."

We were greeted by Fiona the receptionist who was so welcoming and very friendly.
She was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble in asking for anything.
We loved our room which was spacious, clean and very cozy!
We both had a good nights sleep too.
We are both vegan and had a lovely vegan breakfast that was hot, fresh and delicious!
Service was friendly and quick too.

"Lovely room amazing breakfast and choice. Was busy at breakfast time but plenty for all. Rooms was very clean and update. Could do with air conditioning. Lovely pool again very busy at times. Steam room small. Just overall busy but nice hotel. "
"The Bowman was great. On an accessibility note, for anyone having issues stepping high, the tub in the family unit is almost 2 feet tall and can be challenging to step into. "
