"Nice location a few km out of Rotorua. The park-like grounds are a bit odd with the Alice in Wonderland themed art, but peaceful and with nice views of the lake in the distance. The rooms are well appointed but have zero soundproofing: you will hear your neighbors snore and chat, and doors are so flimsy you hear everything going on in the common areas. "Place was a dump. Toilet didn’t work properly, television didn’t work, remote needed batteries, wifi didn’t work properly. The food menu wasn’t even close to the pictures on line. It was run down and was a disaster. We paid for two nights but checked out after one. Only positive was Claire the manager. "

"Good location. When we booked, it was said that the breakfast was included, but the hotel tried to charge us. They accepted it when we gave them the confirmation. The room was spacious and the design was good, but things were worn out, from the doors, the heating system, the paint, etc."

"The room itself was nice and clean however there were ants all in the bathroom. The spa pool was lovely in big however it didn’t work when trying to turn it on. The staff were nice and friendly and very welcoming. Had a great touch with the coffee machine within the room itself."

"Nice little room, good location. Helpful front desk staff and good parking. It’s next to a geothermal park which is a blessing and a curse. You are close enough to walk to this free geothermal park but the smell easily made its way to the motel and we found it a bit overwhelming at times. "

"I paid $350 USD for one night, and it feels more like a motel than a hotel. I stayed in room 18 on the second floor, and there’s no elevator, so you have to carry your heavy luggage up the stairs. The carpet feels dirty, and at 12:00 am there’s a lot of noise coming from the bar next door—we can’t sleep. When I called reception, I was told to be patient. "Good stay overall, mini golf, ping pong and tennis. Room was tidy, just one issue with microwave starting, was bit old. Pool was heated, not hot, expected a bit higher for rotorua, recomend a few more degrees to make comfortable on the cold days but fine for exercise."
