"Great people and nice rooms"

"We were staying at hotel to attend a function elsewhere in the area. The staff were helpful and friendly and we were given an upgrade to executive suite. The check in staff member handled a situation very well when another guest interrupted during our check-in. The hotel was clean and comfortable with good facilities."

"I have stayed at Denvirs in Downpatrick before and it is wonderful. It dates from 1642 and Eoin, one of the staff can give you the history of the place. He is wonderful as well as the manager and all the staff. The food can't be beat either. A must stay in Downpatrick!"

"We only booked one night as we didn’t know how long we needed to stay due to a family situation. The hotel kept our room open whether we used it or not and only charge for the days we are here at discounted rates. All staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and hugely empathetic. "

From the spacious, clean rooms to the personal touches, our first night in Ireland couldn’t have been more pleasant. "Good room, decent beds and pillows. The staff was lovely, there is parking but it's across the street in a parkade which is not ideal but it works. Pretty good location, just a few blocks away from the action but not much directly around the hotel for any immediate needs. "

"We had the most wonderful stay at Blackwell House in Scarva! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome — nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, full of charm and character, with every little detail thought of to make guests feel at home. The food was incredible (and plentiful!) and the rooms were spotless, cosy, and luxurious all at once. It’s one of those rare places where you can truly switch off and relax, and yet still feel utterly spoiled....
