"We booked a double room but what we were provided unfortunately wasn’t a full size double bed.
The size of the room was very small and there were signs up apologising for this but I can live with a small room. There was no window in the room which made it feel even more claustrophobic. We both found it difficult to sleep in the small bed and I had to use the towels provided to cover part of me up when I slept, otherwise I would get cold as the single size bed cover wasn’t big enough for both of...

"Clean room and good location, but you have to bring shampoo, tooth blush, etc on your own as there's almost no amenity. Towels are provided but changed only once in 4 days."

"The Hostel was extremely nice, clean, and friendly.
Apple Hostel is inside the famous Chungking Mansions, which is a crazy but interesting place. You have to take an elevator to get in and out of the hostel."

"Second time staying at this family run hostel! Particularly loved the aesthetic touches to the common areas and the intimate jazz concerts the hostel hosted!"

"I've stayed at Ashoka Hostel before. If you are a budget traveler, I can't recommend this place enough. I needed a cheap place to stay while getting my visa updated last year. So I stayed here again. I stayed during the May holiday this time, which meant the price was more than $44 a night, but it was still a bargain. If you are looking for a safe place to sleep and clean up, this is it. I didn't have a refrigerator this time, but it was okay. The rooms are super-tiny. But it didn't matter to...

"This is in a great location on Kowloon. It was a bit pricier than I wanted to pay for the facilities, but it worked out really well. Good location, shockingly comfortable bed, and incredibly welcoming staff!"

"Very convenient location, super close to the MTR station and shopping malls. Staff were friendly and welcoming and there's free dispensable cold water available which was great. The room was very small but it was enough for what I needed and most importantly it was clean. Only negatives is the shower could do with a lightbulb as it was very dark and other guests can be quite loud sometimes."

"We recently spent a day/night at The Langham Hotel in Hong Kong - loved the place. It was very convenient for us (particularly coming from the nearby cruise terminal) and beautiful inside. It was relatively cost effective, and the staff were most helpful both before we arrived (in response to some emails) and while there. If you plan to stay on the Kowloon side of Victoria Harbor, we'd recommend The Langham. "
"I like that the hotel provided free shuttle between the nearest train station.
Also staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms very spacious and loved view from our room 634. Would definitely stay here again when I visit Hongkong in future"
"Didn’t use provided breakfast but could have eaten in their cafeteria. Also many convenient restaurants nearby. Also Peninsula hotel across the street which is one of the best hotels in Hong Kong. Had tea there that was great. Staff was friendly and helped me with luggage, taxi and info on surrounding interests. First rate and reasonable price. "
