Overall, a nice hotel. There was a smell in our shower which I reported but not sure that anything was done about it. Certainly, the smell was still there. Good breakfast. Helpful reception staff. Lovely pool. Would be helpful if there was a drying rack for beach towels and swimwear.

Our room although a superior room was very small and the shower was not much bigger than a coffin. If you were a larger person it would be difficult to move in the shower. The air conditioning worked off and on and the fridge made loud noises in the middle of the night. The room was not pleasant by any means. Sea view was okay not worth paying for as staying in the room except for sleep was enough. Cannot fault the staff they went out of their way to do what they could with what they had to work with. The coffee was terrible.

Stay far away from Sentido Michelizia Tropea Resor
While Tropea is undoubtedly a beautiful destination, I strongly advise against choosing Sentido Michelizia Resort for your stay. Our experience was marred by being able to check into our room until 8pm, false room descriptions, an unbearably hot attic room, moldy conditions in the shower, shuttle service nightmares, and booking issues. The hotel's overall disregard for guest satisfaction and comfort made our stay a true nightmare. We will definitely return to Tropea, but never to this hotel. It was a truly terrible experience, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others considering a stay here. Expect to wait over an hour for beach pickup shuttle service, in very hot conditions. And then when you get back and ask reception for a bottle of water, they point you to purchase it at the bar. We reserved and confirmed a 2pm beach pickup, they didn't arrive until 3pm. Our air condition could not keep up with the need and were left to sleep in an 84F/29C room for 2 nights. We cut our stay short by a night because we could not take it and the hotel did not attempt to do anything except offer a fan. The hotel even made us pay for the 3rd night but to us, it was worth wasting the money if it meant leaving this place. The most attention the Front Desk gave was when we were walking to our vehicle and they begged us not to write a negative review.

Lovely place
Great place. Very stylish. Pools were clean and everything well maintained. The evening restaurant was a bit hit and miss so we decided to eat out after the 2nd night.

Wonderful hotel! Great location, 10 minutes walk to the centre. Pool area is fantastic. The private beach is not nice, too many stones and difficult to walk on, also the lounge chairs are expensive. A short walk down is a lovely sandy beach, much better and cheaper. Lido Calypso. Breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend this hotel. Only thing I would like see improved is the shuttle bus hours. It’s too early to return at 2:15 from the beach. 3;30 or 4:00 would be better.

I would recommend the resort to everyone.
Our stay was very memorable, the resort is beautiful and the front desk staff are amazing, polite, courteous and very welcoming. I only wish I could remember all their names they were so good to us.

Not the best place to stay.
I came here as a solo female, it was safe but not a place to meet people. The first morning I got woken up by a LOUD banging, like soooo loud it felt like it was in my room and was shaking the whole room. I went to the front desk and told them about it, as a solo person I paid ALOT of money to be here and they just told me they couldn’t do anything about it. The next morning, got woken up the same way. They didn’t even try to do anything. For the amount of money I spent I would assume you’d have a quite and comfortable place to stay.

Amazing views in Tropea
Wi-fi did not work in room and was very slow in lobby. Pool views and bar was great. Breakfast had lots of options. To choose from. The walk into town was not very far.

Absolutely disgusted in the customer service of this hotel. They have never picked up the phone or returned an email over the past 1.5 years of trying to communicate with them. I had booked a stay here in 2019, and was unable to make the trip due to the worldwide shutdown. As things open, up and trying to figure out my options.. this hotel took the money over a year ago and has never returned any and all forms of communication. If they are like this over something so simple, I can only imagine how horrible it is to actually stay there. Customer service is so easy, and if that can't get that right.. I can only imagine the horrors that exist for those that do stay.

Resort hotel just slightly outside of Tropea
Lovely resort hotel with all the luxuries & trappings you’d expect of a resort - good breakfast, clean pool area, good bar, tidy functional room etc Only a 10min walk into old town Tropea & some fabulous restaurants. We booked a sea view room but in all honesty I don’t think it really matters what room you book.

Restaurant was the only let down. Pd $25 euro each for a buffet starter that was almost completely finished with very little to choose from. Complained about it and was given a plate with a couple of slices of cured hams and cheese and small octopus salad instead . Very poor considering we paid so much. Mains were nice but serving size was tiny. We left hungry.

We had a great experience here. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It's very close to the beach with a quick shuttle bus from the hotel. Beautiful pool, excellent breakfast. Plus it's within walking distance the Tropea city centre with lots of restaurants, shops and bars. We'd stay here again.

Entspannen sich willkommen fühlen und gut essen.
Für Paare ausgelegt. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und herzlich. Es liegt zu Fuss 10 vom Zentrum. Sehr bequeme Betten. ABER: Die kies Strand Anlage (Bianca Beach) ist sehr schön das Personal dort war leider wenig motiviert. Das ist sehr schade da sich die Teammitglieder welche kochen, putzen, Koffer tragen im Wohnbereich sich solche Mühe geben.

Schöne Anlage , tolle Aussicht, Personal war sehr freundlichen & hilfsbereit , man konnte sehr gut Ende Juli nachts schlafen , auch ohne Klima ! Tolles Frühstück ( man darf nicht vergessen in Italien frühstückt man anders) Sehr geordnet und sauber auch das buffet ! Insgesamt ruhig angenehm. Das einzige was ich zu bemängeln habe ist der Strand wo man hingebracht wird , gegen eine Gebühr von 30€ ,zwar organisiert aber nicht annähernd so schön wie die anderen Strände wo man alleine hinfahren kann! Parkgebühren schon im oberen Drittel . Sonst alles top

Der Empfang beim Check in war leider nicht so freundlich. Auf Expedia wurde 1€ Kurtaxe pro Tag pro Person genannt. Vor Ort wurden 4€ pro Tag pro Person verlangt. Die Rezeption hatte sich für die falschen Konditionen auf Expedia auch nicht interessiert. Hauptsache wir gehen schnell weg und in das Zimmer. Keine Beschreibung zum Frühstück oder essen, kein wlan Code. Nichts. So fühlt man sich nicht willkommen. Die Zimmer selbst sind klein, nicht mal Platz 2 Koffer auszubreiten. Sehr hellhörig. Wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, kann ich das Hotel nur abraten. Die Dusche ist nur für Personen bis 190cm. Ich musste immer gebückt duschen. Unser Zimmer war leider auch direkt über der Hotelküche. Das gesamte Treppenhaus und zuletzt auch die Zimmer rochen also immer nach Bratfett und Bacon, da die Küche das Treppenhaus als Entlüftung nutze und sonst wohl keine Abluft hat. Frühstück und Restaurant Personal war gut und nett. Leider keine Abwechslung im Angebot. Die Krone wurde durch Renovierungsarbeiten im Zimmer über uns aufgesetzt, durch Bauarbeiten am Pool mit Bagger und Presslufthammer und das abtransportieren des gebaggerten Schutts um 6 Uhr morgens. Dieses Hotel war leider für uns eine absolute Katastrophe. Es gab keinerlei Info vorab zur Baustelle und auch während des Aufenthalts keine Info oder Entschuldigung, auch nicht bei der Abreise. Der Gast ist hier nichts wert.

The female receptionist was not able to answer any questions about the room or excussions due to problems speaking english. She also put us in the back if italian people arrived for questions. There was a lot of noise in the family room where the sofa bed was placed due to bad isolated windows.
