Great stay with most amazing view. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Room was always clean and maintained. Convenient location in the heart of Tropea and a short distance to beaches and the harbour.

Location is excellent. Close to restaurants and the beach. View from the rooftop is five stars and the drinks were always mixed perfectly. Saverio is always happy to help book beach beds, restaurants or anything you need done. Feancesco’s breakfast every day changed and was always homemade with local ingredients. The pastries were exceptional! This was our second time here. Looking forward to our third!

This Hotel is on of the finest I have had the pleasure of staying in. Even before we arrived Saverio made contact to ensure all our questions were answered to enjoy our stay. The Hotel is very clean and well maintained. The view of the beach from the breakfast and sitting area is breathtaking. The staff are warm and welcoming. Definitely a 5/5. I would recommend this hotel to all thinking of visiting beautiful Tropea.

The staff was helpful, but there were issues with our room: a smell emanating from the shower, a toilet that periodically would keep running and therefore unable to be flushed, and when we wanted to open a bottle of wine, the staff could not find a corkscrew on-site. We had to ask a nearby bar to open the bottle for us. Later that evening, a staff member showed up with corkscrew and two wine glasses but it was too late. At the price paid, it’s not too much to expect a corkscrew. Also no coffee in the room, just tea. All in all, we enjoyed the stay, and the views are incredible, and the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was terrific. Just a few minor things lacking.

Tropea in Sept

It was lovely. Breakfast terrace overlooking the beach. Breakfast was good - not great. Service was wonderful. Location right in town but quiet enough.

Hands down the best breakfast we've had in all of Italy. Hotel was beautiful and clean and the staff was amazing. Everyone was super warm and friendly and the location was perfect. The place was spotless. We will be back, only this time we will get an sea facing room.

Our stay at Palazzo Mottola was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The property is beautifully modern, impeccably maintained, and exceptionally clean. The breakfast was excellent and the view! You have to see it to believe it. What truly sets Palazzo Mottola apart, however, is its incredible staff. A special thank you to Miroslava, who was so warm, kind, and welcoming throughout our stay. Her genuine sweetness and attention to detail made us feel right at home. We also cannot say enough about Saverio. He went completely above and beyond in every way possible. He was always available, incredibly helpful, and consistently made sure we had everything we needed. His professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly remarkable and made our experience unforgettable. If you're looking for a place that combines modern luxury, spotless accommodations, and some of the best hospitality you'll ever experience, Palazzo Mottola is the perfect choice. I fell in love with Tropea so much that I want to go there every six months. The hotel was lovely. The staff was friendly. Very clean rooms. The view where we ate breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. The Sea was beneath us if you sit in the balcony area and if you sit in the dining area, you could just see the Sea. Food was delicious. The beach was amazing warm and wonderful restaurants delicious and the prices of the food in the restaurant was absolutely affordable!!! Happy hours were the best whether amazing. I love Tropea beach… I highly recommend it.

Location is perfect. Looks like new, in front of the Med. In Tropea you need to like stairs to go down to the beach and back up.

Beautiful Hotel with Incredibly Helpful Staff

Excellent hotel. This is a beautifully appointed hotel in a prime location overlooking the sea. Serena who manages the hotel was incredibly helpful from arranging a pickup at the train station to giving us excellent recommendations for the town and helping us find a ferry to the Aeolian islands. Anna at breakfast was incredibly sweet and makes excellent food. Sunset view from rooftop bar over Stromboli mountain was beautiful. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

unbelievably beautiful, small, and clean boutique hotel overlooking the Mediterranean ocean in the epicenter of Tropea (best area). Serena at the front desk is amazing, helpful and very hospitable as well as Signora Anna who is an amazing woman who did everything for us without us even having to ask. We felt at home every time we walked into the building thanks to them. The only issue with Tropea in general is the parking. If you plan on driving to Tropea its better to find private parking outside the historical district and then take a taxi directly to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to people looking for a luxurious retreat in Tropea. There is no better hotel in the entire area. Believe me, I checked.

We had a great time at Palazzo Mottola. Manuela was very friendly, cheerful and helpful, and the breakfasts were wonderful. Great cooking Anna! The room was lovely, and we especially enjoyed the amazing jacuzzi shower! The view from the breakfast room balcony was wonderful. Thanks for making it a great stay in Tropea!

Wir waren vom 3-10.10. im Palazzo Mottola Tropea. Das Hotel ist sehr schön eingerichtet, alles ist sehr sauber und man fühlt sich direkt wie zu Hause. Aber vor allem hat dieses Hotel seinen Charme, weil es so tolle Mitarbeiter hat. Alle Mädels waren jeden Tag gut gelaunt und immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders Manuela von der Rezeption hat uns sehr geholfen, als wir Probleme mit unserem Mitwagen hatten. Das Frühstück war jeden Tag sehr schmackhaft, es war genügend Auswahl vorhanden und der Cappuccino war total lecker. Am Abreisetag mussten wir das Hotel schon früh verlassen, man stellte uns am Abend vorher aber noch heißen Kaffee und Milch mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten an die Tür, das war sehr aufmerksam. Unser Zimmer wurde täglich gereinigt und es wurden mehrmals die Handtücher ausgetauscht. Unsere Sachen waren immer schön gefaltet und alles war aufgeräumt. Das ist Urlaub! Vielen Dank an alle Mädels vom Palazzo Mottola, wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub, dank euch. Alles Gute und Ciao

Quando la sfortuna si trasforma in vantaggio!!!

Inizio facendo una doverosa premessa. Il mio soggiorno in questa struttura è stato occasionale e dovuto esclusivamente al programma di protezione di Hotels.com. Casualmente, due giorni prima del mio arrivo scopro che la mia prenotazione non è andata a buon fine e che sono a piedi per le mie vacanze estive! Fortunatamente è stato sufficiente chiamare per ottenere in solo 2 giorni una sistemazione sostitutiva che è poi essere risultata decisamente migliore di quella inizialmente scelta. Tanto di cappello a Hotels.com che oltre ad essere riuscita a farlo in un periodo critico e in una località particolarmente gettonata si è anche accollata la differenza di prezzo. E credetemi non era poco Per quanto riguardo Palazzo Mottola posso solo parlarne in positivo. Ottima struttura, sicuramente una delle migliori in zona. Pulizie due volte al giorno, camere estremamente confortevoli anche se di dimensioni contenute, personale estremamente cortese, colazione ottima e da non perdere assolutamente l'aperitivo serale in terrazza dalla quale si può godere un panorama ed un tramonto incantevole. Unica nota dolente, se così si può dire, è il posizionamento nella ZTL di Tropea che oltre a rendere impossibile il parcheggio nelle vicinanze, costringe i clienti in arrivo e in partenza ad utilizzare taxi locali (APE piaggio) o a vere e proprie sfacchinate coi bagagli. In realtà l'hotel propone un garage nelle vicinanze ma per chi si muove spesso a orari di accesso limitati e costi per me esagerati

Stay here if you are in Tropea!

The property is beautiful, clean and very well kept. It is also in a great location for exploring Tropea. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooftop patio is stunning, do not skip aperitifs! It is the most lovely rooftop I have ever seen, and drinks/snacks were a perfect way to watch the sun go down and start the evening. This was one of my favorite experiences in Italy. The breakfast room also has an amazing view. Breakfast had a great variety of sweet and savory, and kept us full for a day of adventuring.

Super Freundliches Personal. Frühstück war auch sehr lecker. Zimmer auf dem neusten Stand und frisch Renoviert.
