"The Main level of the hotel is kept beautifully. Bedrooms were ok. Bathrooms need fixing up. . Beds comfortable. There was no shampoo is bathroom and the carpet needed vacuuming. Breakfast was solid. Bedrooms felt just a bit shabby."

"Great experience during check- in. Was permitted to check in early. Great cosy pub. Excellent Guinness. The actual room lacked any real ventilation as the one window only pushed outwards slightly and the air felt stagnant and hot. A fan would have helped or indeed a window that opened fully. Overall a great little spot and would definitely recommend."

"Genuinely friendly reception staff didnt bat an eyelid when I checked in with toddler's pizza all down my front, and all the staff were very helpful - the room was so comfortable and as a single traveller I was placed in a lovely quiet area and although there was a wedding going on and lots of kids staying too, I found my room really peaceful and the views are to die for, out over the lake and the beautiful wide lawns and mature trees.
