"The location is superb for those traveling by bus like we did. The staff is helpful, courteous, kind. We had a large spacious room. Breakfast was fine, nothing special, except for waves of middle schoolers coming for their meals as well. They were a pleasure to be around. "

"I loved this hotel. My room on the 5th floor was just lovely. The shower took a while to warm up but then there was plenty of hot water. Fabulous location just at the base of the hill where you walk up to castle, 2 min from the Roman amphitheater, and steps from all the shops, restaurants and scenic streets of the old town. "

Any small query we had was dealt with with alacrity to ensure our needs were met. The rooms were well furnished and the housekeeping did an immaculate job. The restaurant is top class, Michelin starred cuisine, and the food has an excellent range of dishes. The spa provides a beautiful swimming pool in the basement and the massages both myself and my wife received were very professional and beneficial. The site of the hotel right in the heart of Trieste make it an absolutely perfect destination for a holiday or short stay. "
