We received an unexpected room upgrade and ended up in a fabulous twin room literally over the waters of Falmouth Harbour! Wish we could stay for a bit longer and enjoy Falmouth (third time visiting for me but always somewhere I want to revisit) and that lovely room! "
"Simply WOW! It is a beautiful hotel….book ahead during the peak travel season to get on the guided tour. We did the self guided tour which was very good, but a great tour guide would have filled in little bits and pieces …..plus I think there’s a haunted walk component to it! If you get a chance book Room 304 as it’s a corner room on the top floor and the ONLY one with an additional window with a decent view (4 windows versus just 3). "We had family recommend Lewinnick, and we were not disappointed. The room was perfect, and we adored being able to go on all the nearby walks, etc.
The bed was wonderful, but it would have been nice to have a couple of spare pillows in the (empty!) chest in the room for additional comfort. But I cannot complain - it was fantastic as is.
The food was great, but I feel there could be a couple of tweaks. For eg. my husband ordered the bakewell tart, and it arrived cold. I would expect things like...

"The hotel was spotless. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. The room was spacious, comfortable and with all we needed for our stay.
We also ate in the restaurant for dinner which was delicious.
