We did not go into Avignon on our stay -- we opted to stay in the village and enjoyed the experience very much. Our room had an incredible view of the city from across the river. This is a special place."

"We love the European boutique hotels and this was great. The location is right where we wanted to be in the old town area with so many shops and restaurants and, of course, the Papal Palace. The hotel staff was very friendly, the lobby and breakfast area was spacious and our room was just right. It was larger than many European hotel rooms. There was plenty of room for our things and the bed was comfortable. It was also very quiet at night."
