You get what you pay for and to be honest I would usually give a more positive review to a hostel at this price.
Let’s start with the good
It’s a very central, it is cool temperature wise, there is a great kitchen and communal space and it is very easy keyless entry
For me though it is the aggressive signage, lack of cleaning and maintenance and generally not a great vibe that lets it down.
My biggest complaint though is that I booked a private room and nowhere on the booking does it say no guests allowed. As this is a very specific policy to this hotel and not standard to any other hotel where you book a room. It feels very underhand not to mention the aggressive €200 fine signs everywhere.
I can understand for the shared rooms and ensuring it does not become a party hostel. But not being able to bring someone back you meet is a little lame and idve booked somewhere a little more people positive.
I think Expedia should enforce a more accurate listing for this property.
