"Overall great place to stay, highly recommend for a couple to enjoy the nice room with a nice view to Alahambra, very nice place and spacious, close to everything, easy to find. It has a nice terrace, you can bring your own wine or beer and keep it cold in the fridge and enjoys the great views. I highly recommend it"

"I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel...

"Wonderful hotel and perfect location. The room was clean, bed comfortable, excellent bathroom. The A/C was keeping the room cool, no noise at all. There are nice lockers to store your luggage if needed. Although there is no reception desk, the staff greeted us on arrival and help us with everything we needed, very well organized property. We'll absolutely come back in the future!"

"Wonderfully helpful staff 24 hours a day. Their elevator didn't work the morning of my checkout, a staff member heard me on the steps and rushed to help me out, without my having to ask."

"Nice and spacious 2 bedroom apartment in the center of the old city surrounded by beautiful old houses. Close to restaurants and transportation. The shower is very small but manageable. There is a laundry room in the ground floor. The listing said couple minutes from Alhambra but to get to the entrance you need over 20 minutes walk uphill. The second time we went, we took a taxi that costs 5 euros which was much better. We went in the summer and air conditioning was working perfectly."

"It was a bit challenging checking in because we arrived early. The office is several blocks away and doesn’t open until 10. We were able to drop our bags at the office and wonder the city until checking in. The room was awesome, very clean and modern, quiet and secure. The laundry on site was an added bonus. Great central location. Would definitely stay here again."

My wife twisted her knee touring the town and they were very helpful, making reservations, bringing ice for the knee, etc. The location is great, across a narrow street from the beautiful cathedral. We drove to the hotel and the underground parking was very convenient. The room wasn’t large but very comfortable. Breakfast was good but not great. All in all a great experience."

"This is an ideal spot for a solo traveler looking for one of the closest spots to stay close to the Alhambra, and it’s recommended to pack lightly as it’s on an incline. The older women and dog that run the place are very sweet and accommodating. The terrace offers a lovely view of the fortress any time of the day, and the garden is another nice lowkey hang. No A/C proved to be alright because the mornings tended to be chilly and the oscillating fan helped circulate cool air throughout my room....

"My husband and I stayed for a birthday trip and really enjoyed our stay. We received complimentary wine and enjoyed the breakfast. A great location for everywhere of interest. The perfect base if your happy to walk around the city. Also close to a taxi rank for getting back to the bus station. We'd highly recommend"
