"As always excellent..fab location for harbour and station ,relaxed breakfast area and so nice to see so many people with well behaved dogs able to enjoy a stay..dont let a pet friendly hotel put you off,it is immaculately clean and there are 2 areas at breakfast 1 pet friendly, all round excellent consistent accommodation. Main reception room is a beautiful large high windowed, graceful, room resplendent with its numerous couches, library, sea views and perfect for rainy days. The pork belly and fresh vegetables were delicious. A realistically priced, child-welcoming, truly charming hotel with generous pool towels, for the much enjoyed indoor and outdoor pool. The location is great for quick walks, short taxi and train rides to an abundance of child-appropriate fun. The staff are delightful. Grandeur and hospitality without the price-tag, breakfast and bedroom more than adequate, we look forward to our next visit very much. If you need power-showers, and ten-star waitress-service breakfasts, air conditioning, ... this hotel is not for you, but how lucky we are to have this wonderful hotel exactly as it is. "

"Lovely welcome from reception and very helpful with information. Breakfast and evening meal at the hotel was excellent room at the back of the hotel was generally quiet apart from the creaky floorboards above us. Ideal spot for exploring the coastal paths and walking into the marina will definitely return. "

"Great stay at the Brantwood b&b. Lovely room, comfortable bed and very friendly helpful host. Cant comment on the breakfast as we slept so well we missed it! Catherine was kind enough to offer toast and coffee so we didn’t go without any breakfast…highly recommend. "
