• Do not hand your boarding pass (paper or electronic) directly to a TSA officer. Instead, you should place the pass on the reader and then hold it up for the agent to visually inspect it.
• One liquid hand sanitizer container is now permitted in your carry-on baggage. It must be no bigger than 12 oz (350 ml), and you'll need to take it out of your bag for X-ray scanning.
• To reduce handling during the screening process, put items such as your keys, wallet, phone and belt into your carry-on rather than into the bins.
• If you're taking food on the plane with you, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a screening bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA employee will need to touch your carry-on bag or food container for closer inspection.
