You can sit by the fire with a glass of wine, chatting to other guests, looking out on to Loch Ness and then retire to beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean bedrooms. The rooms were big enough for our family (4 people to each room), the breakfast was amazing, there was actually parking (which we have learned is not always available even when listed), and my kids loved the complimentary hot cocoa."

There is also a paid parking lot nearby. Be aware that although free overnight, they will ticket after 8am. "

"The service was wonderful. The staff helped arrange things like taxis and a horse ride and made sure I got breakfast before an early morning tour (excellent scones!). They were especially accommodating on my last day when I was taking a late train, allowing me to shower and have a place to hang out for a little while in the late afternoon. After a nightmare experience at another nearby property that we left early, arriving here felt instantly warm, welcoming, and genuinely comforting — even without a traditional reception or on-site staff. The self check-in was seamless, and we loved the charm of the individually named rooms. The cozy sitting room was perfect for relaxing, and the location is excellent: directly across from the ScotRail station and a short walk to High Street...

"This hotel is a gem. Although the building is older, the room was spotless, updated, and everything was in perfect working order. The restaurant cooked an excellent breakfast to order and the Italian dinners were authentic and delicious. To top it off, the hospitality was warm and welcoming, it was a 5 minute walk to both the downtown and the beach. Loved this place and would return in a heartbeat. "
