"Amazing stay at this property! The property was clean, simple, and very convenient as it was merely a 5 minute walk to the nearest train station. The owner of the business personally took the time and effort to make our stay as enjoyable and accommodating. Breakfast was provided and there were plenty of restaurants and convenient stores nearby. "This place was advertised as sleeping 7, but it barely can hold 4. When told about the accommodation was told we are Japanese and this is how it works for us. Well, if you are renting to foreigners study what works for them. Also, the beds had black jumping spiders. The house was located in a dark alley with an abandoned property at its entrance. "This place provided way more than I ever expected to receive from a hotel. From the moment we arrived the strive for 5 star service was evident. And they achieved it during our entire stay. The staff was always more than accommodating. The onsite dining options were some of the best meals we had in Japan. The garden was stunning and full of history. It was an amazing experience overall. Our sincerest thanks to the entire staff of this establishment, and a special thanks to Murakami San for his consistent personal efforts and time spent with us. This was a very special trip. We will certainly stay here again when we return."

"Traditional style hotel with actual people working at the Front Desk (not computer), a lot of drawers in my room, Bell Captain desk taking care of my luggage and others, all rental clothing included (but not socks) Gym... I missed those good-old-days hotel. I will come back!! "

"So nice, right next to station, super comfy cosy place with all kinds of generosity, good breakfast and free drinks in the evening. Pajamas, pillow library and lots of nice facial care/bath care to choose from every day. Would be good for tattooed guest to know, I was not allowed in the onsen as I have tattoos, which was unfortunate- but checked it out inside and it looked so good. Wish I could’ve gone in. "

"The staff were very helpful when I arrived. The check in went smooth. They are not overly nice, which I like. They will assist only when I asked, which kept my privacy pretty good. Room was cleaned every three days. Clean towels, tooth brush, yukata and others are delivered at the door every day. No nocking by housekeepers. I enjoyed the stay well. The lunch on the lobby restaurant was very good."
