"Pretty basic place. No elevator, but they'll gladly help carry luggage up the stairs. If you're looking for a place to crash close to the airport, you'll be hard pressed to find somewhere better without spending double. Rooms are dated and well used but feel very clean and well maintained. They provide airport shuttle for an additional fee but it was worth it for peace of mind that we'd get there on time. The guys managing it were very friendly and helpful and showed us where a local restaurant...

"We found Daskalio after a couple cancelled ferries threw a wrench in our travel plans. Although it was not in our plans to stay there, we chose it because of the sea view and it far exceeded expectations! The rooms are simple but have everything you need, and the pictures of the view don’t do it justice. The area has many walkable beaches and a few taverns we found, as well as a good restaurant in the hotel itself.

"Check in was easy and the hotel is very secure. They provide specific instructions prior to arrival for accessing the door for the entrance and a lockbox code for the room key. The view from the room with the partial sea view/pool view room was excellent and we enjoyed the lounge beds and terrace area that was provided with our room. "My room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. But, jist as important, the personnel made my precarious situation very simple with excellent communication and service. I had a late arrival, but was met with kindness and helpful information. (Especially about the wonderful bakery around the corner!) They provided a shuttle to the airport that was punctual the next morning. I couldn't have been happier!"
