"Beautiful setting with amazing pool villa"

"We loved our short stay at Buri Rasa. Such a special place in Koh Phangan. We visited and stayed all over the island and this resort is by far the classiest. Having said that, this is ‘sanitised’ Koh Phangan (only ONE cannabis shop we spied in the village, as opposed to the customary ‘every other shop’ experience!) and we absolutely loved our very different, more authentic stay just before at Secret Beach Bungalows. But Buri Rasa is delightful on lots of levels (staff, stylish rooms, nice breakfast, great happy hour with fabulous cocktail waiters)…and a great choice for families with children. We came with our 16 year old and were glad to escape the cannabis shops for a few days! Fabulous resort "

"Great place for the price. Clean and New construction. I would ignore old posts. This place is doing their best and that’s enough for me at under 50USD per night…if you want a beach club with unnecessary guards at every entrance in the beach there’s a place next-door that’s run by the Burmese that will charge you about two to $400 a night… but you came to Thailand, right?"

"Staff were very nice and helpful, area, scenery and beaches were excellent. Food and drink weren’t very good. The older part of the resort (just the rooms and their pools) is in desperate need of an upgrade. Before my stay I read more than a few reviews regarding the resorts age and thought how bad could it be? It’s bad. At some point everything needs an upgrade. Panviman is well overdue for one. I’m sure the rooms in the newer section are great, I suggest booking one of them. "

"Loved my stay at Havana! Ferry transfers were super easy and the activity they organized to go to the night market was a highlight. Really enjoyed the more quiet side of the island too - definitely more family friendly and nice for a solo traveler. 10/10 would recommend. "

"Sand in my Shoes was a very relaxed, chilled-out place to stay. It was very peaceful and the location is perfect- you literally roll out of bed right on to the beach. I watched many sunrises sitting on a sun lounger followed by a delicious coffee made by the super-attentive and friendly staff there. The large deck cafe area is great for hanging out any time of the day and the food is delicious…. especially breakfast. Comfy beds and very quiet at night. "
