Great place for the price. Clean and New construction. I would ignore old posts. This place is doing their best and that’s enough for me at under 50USD per night…if you want a beach club with unnecessary guards at every entrance in the beach there’s a place next-door that’s run by the Burmese that will charge you about two to $400 a night… but you came to Thailand, right?

Great hotel. Excellent value for money

Ignore the old reviews- this place has had a makeover and for the price, it’s excellent. You can’t get closer to the beach, the area is quiet but still with enough shops/ cafes and restaurants. Good air con, hot shower with good temperature, clean bedding and room. We stayed here for two nights over new years to head to the FMP, it was about 300 baht ew pp for a taxi there and also about 300 baht pp to the pier - but it’s much nicer than staying in Haad Rin if you’re a couple. And the beach makes it also worth paying that bit extra for! Didn’t use the pool but plenty of people were, the temperature felt good (perhaps could’ve had a bit of a clean though)

Ein etwas älteres, aber sehr gepflegtes Hotel direkt an einem wunderschönen Strand. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut top. Wir waren nun schon zum zweiten Mal hier und würden jederzeit gerne wiederkommen.

Wer eine einfache nicht zu teure Unterkunft direkt am Strand möchte, ist hier richtig. Uns wurde das Resort empfohlen, aber leider wurden unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Die Einrichtung gibt alle Grundelemente her, hier ist kein besonderer Komfort. Das Bett ist nicht sonderlich bequem und die Vorhänge verdunkeln den Raum nicht sehr zuverlässig. Sonderlich sauber war es leider auch nicht, aber es war ausreichend. In unserer ersten Nacht hatten wir Ameisen im Bett. Nachdem wir uns an der Rezeption gemeldet haben, wurden diese auch erfolgreich entfernt. Nichts desto trotz kann man hier auf dem Boden immer wieder Ameisen erwarten. Im Badezimmer hatten wir eine Schabe als Mitbewohner, auch hiermit ist zu rechnen. Im gesamten war diese Unterkunft ausreichend. Ist aber etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Fußläufig (10 min) ist eine kleine Meile mit Restaurants und co. zu finden. Man sollte sich hier aber bewusst sein, das man weiter ab vom Schuss ist und bis in die Stadt schon 30 - 40 min fährt. Ein Roller ist hier zu empfehlen, aber Fahrerfahrung wäre hier aufgrund der Straßen von Vorteil.

Erst mal das Positive: die Lage der Anlage ist toll, direkt am Strand, überall Bäume, mitten im Grünen. Der Pool ist ok, wird täglich gereinigt. Die Gärtner und Putzfrauen grüßen freundlich, dass war es aber schon. Das Negative: die Anlage und die Bungalows sind in die Jahre gekommen und machen einen ungepflegten Eindruck. Die Reinigung der Zimmer muss angekünfigt werden( Schild am Türgriff hängen), wobei nur mal kurz gekehrt wird und das Bett gemacht wird. Reinigung im Badezimmer / Toilette Fehlanzeige. Das Wasser sollte nan erst ein wenig laufen lassen, bis mal klares Wasser kommt und das Wasser riecht zeitweise seltsam.... Die Freundlichkeit des Managements ist für Thaiverhältnisse garnicht vorhanden. Ok, für den Preis war nicht mehr zu erwarten und es war halt auch nur zum schlafen. Das nächstemal gebe ich wieder mehr für das Zimmer aus, aber nicht in dieser Anlage.

Het strand is fantastisch, het resort wordt slecht onderhouden. Dit was de derde keer dat we bij Phuwadee verbleven en eigenlijk was er helemaal niets veranderd behalve dat alles verouderd was. Zwembadje was 7 van de 9 dagen gesloten omdat het filtersysteen niet werkte, er waren nog maar zes gehavende strandstoelen over. Kamers waren ruim en schoon als altijd maar wel basic ingericht. Wel een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding want je betaald ook niet veel.

The place doesn’t come with air conditioning, which I guess is expected since it doesn’t say so online, but for the price it is ridiculous that the AC didn’t work in our room. It was far from the pier, honestly probably the longest drive you could have on the island. A bit dirty. Overall though it was ok. The staff was nice and it was right on the beach which was pretty.

Good location by the beach

The hotel was ok for the money we paid. Service could have been better, staff didn't speak/understand much English. Location is great, the beach was beautiful. Although there was only 6 sun beds and one bed at the pool area.

Die Anlage liegt traumhaft direkt am Strand. Der Pool ist zwar gepflegt, aber leider wurden keine Liegen aufgestellt, die wir sahen waren alle aus Plastik und kaputt. Am Strand standen 3 Holzliegen mit Plastikauflagen die auch nicht mehr die jüngsten waren. Ich finde das preis leistungsverhältmis stimmt hier nicht mehr. Beim Frühstück konnte man zwischen 3 Nummern wählen., die nach 4 Nächten sehr eintönig waren.

War in Ordnung, aber nicht mehr

Das Hotel liegt an einem sehr schönen Strand in guter Lage. Die Bungalows sind sehr dicht gebaut, was uns allerdings nicht gestört hat, da wir eines der Strandbungalows in erster Reihe hatten. Das Bungalow an sich war absolut in Ordnung, die Lage war top. Das war aber auch das einzige. Wir sind nicht anspruchsvoll und waren auch als Backpacker unterwegs, dieses Hotel haben wir uns zum Schluss unserer Reise "gegönnt", aber im Endeffekt war es 3x so teuer wie alle anderen Hotels und 10x so schlecht. Das Hotelpersonal ist halt da, aber mehr auch nicht, man merkt es dann, wenn einem bei Regen die (wasserdichte) Matte auf der Liege kommentarlos unterm Allerwertesten weggerissen wird. Wir hatten das Gefühl, in einer gefühlskalten, anonymen Massenabfertigungsanlage zu sein. Hauptsache Geld kommt rein, der Rest ist egal. Da kann es schonmal extrem widerlich aus der Küche riechen (Hundescheiße?!), wahrscheinlich kostet ein Putzlappen zu viel. Da hatten wir sehr sehr viel herzlichere und angenehmere Hotels vorher! Und die hatten nicht angebliche 3 Sterne, sondern max 1 oder 2 und waren dafür aber sehr sauber, fair und herzlich. Das im Preis enthaltene "Frühstück" ist eine Frechheit. Ich esse normalerweise nicht viel, aber von einem halben Ei und zwei Scheiben Toast werde auch ich nicht satt. Eine Scheibe mehr kostet natürlich extra, wer hätte es gedacht. Wem die Profitgier der Besitzer und Anonymität nichts ausmacht, kann sich hier am sehr schönen Strand und der guten Lage erfreuen.

Einmal und nicht wieder

Obwohl wir für 10 Nächte bezahlt haben, sind wir nach 7 abgereist und haben das Geld verfallen lassen. Nie wieder würde ich dieses Hotel buchen.

Bungalowanlage am Strand

Die Bungalows sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Sehr gute Aircondition. Bad sehr unrein ( Schimmel),sowie nach jeder Dusche Überschwemmung im Bad. Frühstück war dem Preisniveau angepasst. Sehr schöner Strand. Wir hatten aber eine Woche sehr hohe Wellen ( rote Flagge). Nicht weit ins Dorf wo es Essmöglichkeit und Einkaufsmöglichkeit gibt.

sehr schöne lage aber..........................

um es einmal auf den punkt zu bringen wie unterschiedlich die bewertungen hier ausfallen gibt es für mich folgendes über das resort zu berichten: die lage ist wunderbar!raus auf die terrasse und man kann von den strandbungalows fast in das meer hüpfen!wirklich wunderbar! die bungalows an sich sind äusserlich nett anzuschauen aber..................... vom kühlschrank bis zum tv funktioniert wirklich fast nichts darin!wir hatten im 1sten strandbungalow keinen kühlschrank und kein tv!auf letzteres kann ich auch gerne verzichten. es gibt nicht mal eine klobürste!!klopapier ist so dünn das es 5x gefaltet werden muss damit naja............die angebotenen sonnenliegen sind aus holz und es gibt keine auflagen dafür!klasse für einen fakir aber nicht für uns/mich.das frühstück:man bekommt eine eingeschweisste karte mit menue 1 2 und drei auf den tisch geknallt!nr 1 besteht aus der wahl von rühr/spiegelei/marmelade/butter/2 scheiben toast/c-frischsaft/bacon/und einer tasse kaffe! nr 2 ist einne schale mit obst und müsli mit joghurt/c frisch saft!nr 3 besteht aus einer thai reissuppe! mehr gibbet nicht.also nix für ausgiebige frühstücker!das personal an der bar(immer zu dritt),ist nicht sonderlich aufmerksam oder freundlich.man fühlt sich als gast wirklich nicht willkommen leider. es mag sein das ich vielleicht ein wenig arg jammer aber gewiss berechtigt!es muss jedenfalls so einiges an der anlage mal richtig in schuss gebracht werden.
