"Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."

"Another superb nights stay. Parking is off-road and right outside the property. The room was plenty big enough, very clean and it a great condition. The bathroom is a good size with an excellent shower. Breakfast was top notch and a quick service. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I'd be more than happy to stay there again."

"Super hotel in middle of Dolgellau. Efficiently run by courteous friendly professional staff. We did not eat there but wish we had! Everything as it should be in a good hotel. Plentiful overnight parking in the long stay carpark behind the hotel. Some traffic noise as it is an old building with single glazing but that is to be expected. "

"Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! "I had a lovely few days here, the hotel is in the most stunning location. The room was spotlessly clean, and had all I needed. The owner of the hotel was lovely and very friendly and accommodating e.g. to an early checkout. I ate there one evening and the food was excellent. Breakfast is also very good!"
