"Hotel is in a beautiful location next to the river. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Bedroom was clean, comfortable and spacious. Really tasty breakfast in the morning with a large and varied buffet. Porridge, kippers etc also available on request. Evening meal in the restaurant was also really good. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the bar and on the terrace. Highly recommended."

"Probably the best thing about the hotel,was that it was very central. The bed that my partner and I shared was the most uncomfortable sleep that both of us had ever had.there was I big dip in the mattress.we never tried the food because a local advised us not to."

"Long established country house hotel located in beautiful spot on the banks of the River Tay and a great place to relax and unwind. The main baronial style hotel is quite grand and has a nice dining room. We stayed in the adjacent Riverside Rooms annexed to the main hotel. Both dinner and breakfast was excellent (the food is locally sourced) but (small issue) staff forgot to serve coffee one morning and tea the next morning at breakfast (with no apologies for the delay and oversight). "A beautiful property in lush grounds. Our room (no. 15) looked over the garden. Wonderful big shower with good power. Just off the main high street made it very quiet. Fab breakfast too to set you up for the day walking around the area."
