One of the best places we’ve stayed in . Breakfast was superb with a good choice of fruit and cereal followed by a first class Scottish breakfast. Our room was beautifully decorated with everything one might want. Parking was excellent and we were allowed to leave the car well after check out. Mine host Gordon couldn’t have been more helpful.

Received email for online reception which included helpful update on local area. Warm welcome at hotel and all staff were keen to check we had everything we wanted. Looking forward to returning to explore area more.

Wonderful stay in the Claymore guest house

We spent two nights in this beautiful guest house. The owner Gordon met us on arrival and was so helpful in suggesting where to go for something to eat or drink. The room was lovely, very big with a shower room, dressing room and cloakroom. The bed was so comfortable! At breakfast the staff were so nice and helpful. We had a lovely view onto the front lawn which had been well looked after. Very colourful flowers and even a friendly pheasant appeared in the morning. The guest house is well situated as you can walk into Pitlochry within 5 minutes.

The Jewel in the Crown of our Staycation

Pitlochry was fantastic and idealic wee Scottish town, I only wish we had planned another couple of days there rather than just n overnight stay. The rest of our staycation paled into insignificance after this experience. The 'Claymore Guest House' was wonderful, an extra luxurious accommodation and very reasonably priced. A super large modern classic bedroom with a sitting area and a large modern bathroom suite, and to top it all we also had a lovely view across the well manicured front lawn. Graham was so welcoming and interested in all of his guests, and served a varied delicious breakfast in the morning. I simply cannot recommend this guest house enough, it was the crown in the jewel of our week long staycation which also included St. Andrews, Callander and Stirling. We will definitely be back for another trip to Pitlochry in the near future. Thank you Graham and your staff for your wonderful hospitality, hope to see you soon.
