To improve: blinds are definitely not blackout, which is challenging in spring when the sun is up early, and when your window faces the parking lot with extremely bright floodlights. Unfortunately it was raining two nights and there was a dripping sound outside the window that was so loud it sounded like someone was popping microwave popcorn in the next room. "Rooms and building are all in excellent shape. The pool was closed all five days we stayed at this property. Breakfast provided was minimal compared to other Hampton Inns we have stayed at. Many mornings there was no cutlery Very little condiments Very poor selection of items. Staff did not seem concerned with these issues when it was brought to their attention. Just a sorry our kitchen is closed and the pool is being repaired."

"The rooms are very comfortable and very clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful restaurant for breakfast and the best thing is that it is located around everything, shopping at Polo Park, excellent restaurants and a movie theatre, not far from the Zoo and many parks. I have stayed there for many years and couldn’t be happier with the location that is close to so many wonderful things to do in Winnipeg and their rates are very reasonable."
