"Horrible experience I flew to Columbus for a funeral with a room booked at the Sonesta Simply Suite. Upon my evening arrival, the parking lot was pitch black at 9pm with no lights to be found. After finally arriving in the lobby, I was met by an employee who immediately stated they were overbooked. Her focus was merely to make sure I knew they had no room for me. After going back and forth with her, asking why there was no prior notification, she said that happens all the time with their system. Almost 400 miles from home with no room, i was very upset. I will never reserve another room here again. "

"Breakfast was nice, good options for making fresh waffles, hot eggs, protein and cereal options. Coffee pretty good too. Pool open 7am to 10pm. Great for families. Clean room , friendly staff. About 25 minutes from downtown. I would stay again. "

"My wife and I were very UPSET with our reservation being canceled when we arrived at the hotel after driving for 3 hours to attend to some business while on Columbus Our reservation was confirmed and the canceled due to a concert at Ohio State. NOT SATISFIED AT ALL"

"The lady at checkin was most helpful. The room rate increased every night which was unexpected and disappointing. The lady at checkin blamed Expedia for this. The room was less than. There was a noticeable odor as I entered the room. The furniture was missing drawers and when I reported this, the response was placing drawers that did not fit the furniture. I'm not sure which was worse! The clientele (construction workers) were noisy every night! One outside doors did not open with the access cards as they were supposed to, but the clientele pulled it open anyway. I will most likely avoid staying at a hotel like this one in the future."
